About Maybe Happy Ending

Can robots fall in love? Get Maybe Happy Ending tickets to find out, and see Darren Criss and Helen J Shen star in a new musical about connection, love, and, yes, robots. The Glee star and up-and-coming actress Helen J. Shen, recently in The Lonely Few and Teeth, co-star in this contemporary musical comedy about finding purpose and the little things that give life meaning.

Oliver (Darren Criss) lives a tidy and quiet life in Seoul. He’s got his jazz records and beloved plant to keep him company, and what else is there to do, especially when you’re just a HelperBot 3, a robot that has been discontinued and considered obsolete?

Soon, however, a neighbor HelperBot named Claire (Helen J Shen) asks to borrow Oliver’s charger, igniting a unique friendship, a surprising adventure, and maybe even something like love. Tony Award winner Michael Arden (Parade) directs the Broadway debut of this new show that earned raves at Alliance Theatre.
